Beginner-friendly? yes

The good: Apashe has been really consistent with hitting the mark on grand, orchestral electronic music, and Vladimir Cauchemar joins the fray to add his own little masala to the mix. All three tracks on here have nifty sound design and polished mixdowns — a very good showing, sound-design wise.

The bad: God, this tracklist is so short. I know two-track EPs which are longer than this. No track is above three minutes, and that means very few of them actually get to expand upon the grand atomspheres they posit (with the exception of "ORATORES"). Also, couldn't you get more creative with the EP title?

Name Comments Superlative
ORATORES Beautiful vocal from Ruti, powerful and the production soars behind it with a fantastic sense of grand progression Emotive
BELLATORES Love the slightly abrasive yet very much melodic twinge, wish the track was longer because it doesn't expand upon itself much Melodic
LABORATORES Big fan of the creativity in the chanting samples and hard techno but the main sample is kind of irritating Switchup
  1. ORATORES w/ Ruti (92/100)

  2. BELLATORES (73/100)

  3. LABORATORES (56/100)
